Federico Styrzle

Federico began his riding career in Argentina at the age of 10, beginning in the children’s jumpers. After winning multiple championships at that level, he quickly progressed until he became the Reserve National Champion at the Grand Prix level in Argentina at the age of 16.

His international riding career included three appearances on Argentinian junior teams and two championship appearances: the 1983 Pan American Games in Caracas, Venezuela and the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece. He also represented Argentina in numerous Nations Cup competitions, from Peru, Ecuador and the United States to Sweden and Germany. Over the course of his career he won numerous grand prix competitions in Argentina and on the east coast of the United States. Wherever he went, Federico was known for his talent and passion for the horses.

In 2011, Federico started his new business venture at Ñapinday Farm. While he can still occasionally be seen in the show ring, his main focus is on developing his riders and horses to be effective, consistent competitors, with a focus on good horsemanship.

Chris Ewanouski

Bitten by the horse bug at 5 years old, Chris Ewanouski started out riding at a local farm. Moving to Grazing Fields in high school, he became a working student for Kathy Fletcher and through dedication and perseverance made history at the 2005 New England Equitation Finals by not only winning the overall final, but the Horsemanship portion as well. His junior career was rounded out with an 11th place finish at the 2005 WIHS Finals and a top 25 finish at the ASPA Maclay Championship in the same year.

After learning from top professionals like Candice King and Geoff Teall, Chris eventually linked up with Federico Styrzle in 2011 and has been a part of the Ñapinday team since the beginning. Endlessly enthusiastic and as hard-working as he was as a junior, Chris makes everyone at Ñapinday feel like family - two legged and four legged clients alike.
